Sylvia Pagán Westphal
Sylvia is Managing Director of the Client Experience Group at MGS Group Real Estate. Sylvia has built or renovated multiple luxury properties over the years, and brings to MGS a deep understanding of the factors that define a successful real estate journey – starting with evaluating a property’s needs before its sale or identifying buyer needs before a purchase, to managing all the complex steps involved in a move.
Sylvia advises clients on many aspects of their real estate journey. She can evaluate a home prior to placing it on the market, to determine if it needs styling, organizing, or a remodel. She is also available to help assemble and oversee the best team to prepare the home prior to its first showing. Sylvia has an extensive network of high-quality, vetted service providers (architects, builders, interior designers, organizers and more) to help clients ensure their project is a success. In addition to her role at MGS, Sylvia owns Herringbone & Brass, a full service interior design company in Boston. She also founded The Private List, a networking forum for top real estate agents, which she created to foster communication and brainstorming among agents in the area.
Sylvia has a Ph.D. in genetics from Harvard University and has worked as an award-winning healthcare and science reporter. Sylvia lives in Brookline, MA, with her husband, four boys, and goldendoodle, and has a daughter in college in New York City. Sylvia is on the board of trustees at Milton Academy, and she is an advisor to Our Sister’s School in New Bedford and the Women’s Foundation of Boston.
